MEHOP News-Dr. Barton Griffith has joined the MEHOP staff as our new Interim Medical Director!!!
MEHOP is now a distribution site for Angel Food Ministries. $30 for a week's supply of food for a family of four, plus many other specials, including prepared meals and fresh fruits and vegetables. Place orders online at www.angelfoodministries.com or at the MEHOP office during the month and pick up food at MEHOP the third or fourth Saturday of the month from 11:00 - 12:00. Call the MEHOP office for information.
MEHOP is now picking up patients every Tuesday in Palacios. Call the MEHOP office for an appointment.

MISSION STATEMENT
The MEHOP mission is to improve the health status of our clients by providing quality primary health care services and spiritual care to people in the communities we serve regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or the ability to pay.

MEHOP believes in the whole person approach of body, mind, and spirit. One of the main goals of this program is to treat each person with dignity and respect. The staff strives to empower each person to the best of their ability.
MEHOP provides comprehensive primary health care and spiritual ministry to the isolated, underserved, uninsured, disadvantaged and to those who are otherwise unable to access medical assistance regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or ability to pay; the clinic is accessible to people with disabilities.
MEHOP's medical services are provided Monday through Thursday daily through the Bay City site. The MEHOP mobile clinic has suspended services until further notice.
MEHOP'S office is open Monday through Friday.
MEHOP is a non-profit organization. Donations and grants make up most of MEHOP's income and keep it running. Volunteers are needed to serve in many capacities.
